Grant Writer for Non Profit

Is your heart to see the Kingdom of God fulfilled on the earth? We are looking for a Grant Writer to join our Summit team! Successful candidates will lead our efforts in securing funding for our organizational operations and outreach initiatives year round.  

Responsibilities will include researching grant opportunities, writing compelling grant proposals to acquire funding, furnishing prospective funders with supporting documents, compiling annual reports, and working with our leadership team to ensure we have enough capital each year.  You will work closely with Senior Pastoral leadership, the Board Treasurer, and the staff Bookkeeper.

• Excellent written communication skills, to ensure grant applications resonate with the recipients.
• Outstanding organizational skills to track application status and progress as well as opportunities that arise during the year, providing updates and reports to leadership.
• Proven work experience as a Grant Writer or in a similar role.
• Proficient with measuring and reaching income goals.
• Proficient with Google Drive, MS Office Word and Excel.
• Excellent knowledge of fundraising information sources.
