Description

Meals on Wheels People is an organization founded in and by the community! Over the past 50 years, our nonprofit has helped thousands of older adults in the Portland Metro area keep their independence through weekly meal delivery and social connections. Our culture reflects our five values: integrity, commitment, respect, inclusion, creativity, and TEAMWORK. With over 20 meal delivery centers throughout Multnomah, Washington, and Clark counties, our staff and thousands of volunteers ensure that no adult over 60 goes hungry or experiences social isolation.

We are searching for qualified candidates for our Grant Coordinator position. The Grant Coordinator will assist the Director of Grants and Foundation Relations in carrying out the department's mission and grant strategy to generate revenue, report results, and record grant cycle information. The role will support a team-based approach to grant submission, support pre-award and post-award management and reporting, identify new funding sources, and ensure compliance with grant policies and regulations.

Our ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience working in a related field with effective grant-writing techniques and communication. Possess the ability to interpret financial data, and prepare budgets and financial grant reports. This position qualifies for added pay for bilingual skills in Spanish, Vietnamese, Russian, Asian, or African languages.

Make a difference working in a supportive and collaborative environment. Celebrate work-life balance with a four-day workweek, quality time off, and a comprehensive benefits package. Meals on Wheels People is an EEO employer committed to the inclusion of people of color, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people, women, and people living with disabilities in our workplace and programs.
