As the Foundation Manager, you will connect regularly with blood and biotherapies industry executives, board members, financial contributors, and volunteers to support efforts to establish long term partnerships, strengthen existing relationships, and initiate new contacts to grow and establish the Foundation as a key industry resource.  The Foundation Manager is responsible for several key efforts, including the scientific recognition award programs and the Association’s memorial awards.  This position also assists in the development of fundraising and donor engagement strategies and manages gift processing, financials, charitable giving, constituent reporting, data management, and overall administrative support for Foundation activities.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of three years of professional and project management experience with a bachelor’s degree, or a minimum of five years of experience in lieu of degree.  This position requires experience with long-term, cyclical multi-project management and knowledge of donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies and techniques.  AABB is seeking a resourceful, ingenious professional with knowledge of development systems and experience coordinating development-related processes.  Association, non-profit, foundation, or for-profit charitable giving experience is preferred.
