Description

ABOUT EPISCOPAL IMPACT FUND (The Impact Fund)

Episcopal Impact Fund supports organizations that address the root causes of poverty in the San Francisco Bay Area, both financially and through mentorship and guidance. Inspired by the teachings of the gospel, the Impact Fund shares a vision of a world without poverty. The Impact Fund is a nonprofit grant-making organization and the outreach arm of the Episcopal Diocese of California.

The Impact Fund advances pathways out of poverty through its ability to select, partner, and invest in some of the most effective poverty-fighting organizations throughout the Diocese of California, which encompasses the 5-county Bay Area.  By pooling the resources of donors, the Impact Fund provides meaningful grants, technical assistance, and professional support to organizations that serve more than 45,000 people each year.

The Impact Fund addresses the most critical needs of the community including affordable housing, access to healthcare and education, and environmental justice for low-income communities.  These are critical interventions that help stem the tide of rising inequality and poverty in the Bay Area. The need is great and the Impact Fund's work today on behalf of those living in poverty is more important than ever.
