Executive Director

InterTribal Buffalo Council, a federally chartered Tribal organization in Rapid City, SD, is seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to serve as Executive Director for our organization.

ITBC was formed in 1992 and our mission is to restore buffalo to Tribal lands. We are comprised of 75 member nations who we serve through administering federal grants, facilitating the transport of surplus buffalo from public to Tribal lands, and providing technical assistant to Tribes who want to start or grow their buffalo herds, among other services.

Whether leading office staff, seeking organizational funding, serving as liaison with partnering agencies, or representing ITBC at meetings, conferences, and in the halls of Congress, this individual should be ready and excited to join an ever-growing organization who is dedicated to serving our member Nations.
