Description
Uncompahgre Volunteer Legal Aid (UVLA) is a non-profit corporation established in 1987 to serve the low income community’s legal needs. We are seeking a part time (12-16 hours per week) Executive Director who can manage the organization during a time of transition and operational changes. This individual will be responsible for managing the administration of services, programming and clinics, community outreach, strategic planning, fiscal planning and management, as well as overseeing fundraising and grant writing for the organization. This position reports directly to the Board of Directors. Prior nonprofit experience a plus. Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated high-level strategic planning including an ability to effectively communicate the organization’s strategic moves and future planning to the Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, donors, partners, and our community. Requirements: grant writing experience and/or fundraising experience; a strong ability to multitask and manage time and resources effectively. The position offers flexible paid time-off, and salary and benefits DOE.
