Who We Are Seeking:

Boundless Brilliance is seeking an individual with excellent leadership skills; a proven fundraiser, who is relationship-oriented and communicative with donors, Board Members, staff, and college-age volunteers; a team-builder who knows how to inspire, delegate and oversee. Implement an entrepreneurial strategy to grow the organization within Los Angeles County and ultimately across the U.S.

About the Organization:

Boundless Brilliance is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit founded in 2017 by three female STEM majors while they were students at Occidental College. The idea for Boundless Brilliance emerged when the founders read a study published in Science Magazine which found that by age six, both boys and girls associate intelligence with men. Our mission is to empower students to embrace their brilliance and realize a future of STEM leadership that is as diverse as the world we live in. Our vision is to build communities of empowered women in STEM on college campuses who promote confidence, respect and exposure to STEM in local elementary schools. We seek to dismantle the restrictive notion of who can be a scientist before biased perceptions of STEM professionals are internalized, by connecting and engaging students across generations through empowering dialogue and hands-on science experiments. Our model is to continue to grow through establishment and support of college chapters who deliver presentations in elementary school classrooms in their local communities.
