The Proposed Niazee College of Osteopathic Medicine (NCOM) is searching for an Executive Assistant (EA) to support the Founding Dean/Chief Academic Officer (CAO), and the executive team of Associate Deans, the Founder and College President, Executive Vice President, Chairman of the Board and other administrative personnel. As a newly developing institution, the College is looking for an EA who will oversee the administrative management of the Office of the Founding Dean/CAO to help ensure an efficiently running institution. The EA will report direct to the Founding Dean/Chief Academic Officer.

The primary responsibilities involve learning multiple software platforms, understanding the basics of the extensive regulatory/legal framework of medical education and employment in Illinois, planning/organizing, performing administrative duties, public/professional/student interaction, event management, project management assistance, creating reports, and data-entry input and extraction.

As a member of our team, the EA is an active participant in our strategic initiatives, serving as staff on various Dean/CAO committees. Exceptional people skills—written, nonverbal, and verbal—are essential in fostering effective communication and building strong working relationships within our office, NCOM, and across the broader osteopathic professional community. Our department places a strong emphasis on confidentiality, and the understanding of its importance is crucial in maintaining the integrity and trust within our team. The EA should have a service-focused mindset in supporting organizational staff and students and work well with different personalities in a professional manner.
