Compensation:

  • In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this position is posted with this position.  The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Role Summary

The Child Development Services Regional Manager will assist the Child Development Services Program leadership with staffing oversight, communication, training, event planning, and documentation management.  In addition, the Regional Manager will develop, implement, and coordinate educational programs for children from birth to six (6) years old who have a visual impairment in addition to other multiply disabling conditions and their families. This includes direct service intervention, interaction, and consultation with professionals in the community to ensure continuity and quality of services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • VH, SH, or LH credential preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Experience working with multiple disabled infants and their families.
  • Knowledge of the implications of visual impairment on early childhood development and the family system.
  • Ability to initiate and self-direct appropriate intervention.
  • Knowledge of procedures and rights involved with accessing school system programs.
  • Familiarity with services available to infants and young children with vision loss and multiple disabilities in Central California statewide is a plus.
