PART-TIME DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE

Corona Self Help seeks associate of development to work in its new  donor relations program and research prospects for its fundraising initiatives. Reporting to, and in partnership with the board of directors, this small development team will spearhead the organization’s development efforts. A great candidate will be responsible for finding prospective donors that are similar in mission and vision as CSH, participate in developing fundraising campaigns and events, communicating with prospective donors, and building a stronger development program within the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a short and long-term fundraising list of possible donors .
• Identify prospective individual, foundation, and corporate donors.
• Help to maintain ongoing communications with private and corporate donors.
• Participating in the strategies for existing donors to effectively move through a meaningful cycle of giving.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Demonstrates servant leadership, embodies the DA mission, and exemplifies a collaborative, decisive, motivating, and engaging communication style.
• Experience in non-profit fundraising, preferably in health or social service organization.
• Knowledge of Bloomerang Donor Management System for Non-profits a plus.
• Extreme tact and discretion, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent education.
