Description

Impact & Responsibilities: Plans, directs and implements annually identified activities relevant to fundraising priorities and needs for the UNI Foundation and the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center; coordinates external relations, donor programs and events that support the fundraising work plan; makes individual contacts with alumni, friends, and businesses to solicit funding support and sponsorships for GBPAC and university priorities; develops and implements current and new fundraising, recognition and stewardship programs as appropriate; develops and maintains sponsor relationships and prospects; and represents the UNI Foundation and GBPAC in a wide range of professional settings and to a wide range of constituents.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree; at least three years of combined experience in fundraising/non-profit development working directly with donors or direct client contact experience in sales and marketing required. Non-profit development experience; excellent oral and written communication skills; creativity, self-motivation and the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively with individuals; and a working knowledge of performing arts or higher education preferred.
