Our mission is to help children and families grow as independent, healthy and productive individuals through holistic quality counseling, out-of-home care and support services. We do this in partnership with those we serve as well as government agencies and other service providers. Our organization is a leading provider of evidence-based programs and has been nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA) since 2000. On an average year, we expand and grow our programs by twenty percent in both existing and new service areas.

Overview:

Cayuga Centers is seeking an entrepreneurial minded leader to lead the team responsible for identifying growth opportunities and implementing new programs. This position works in close collaboration with agency leadership and external partners and funders.

What we’re looking for:

• Master’s degree in related field
• Experience in grant writing and proposal development
• Strong project management skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Knowledge of Medicaid Managed Care a plus
• Supervisory experience a plus
• Commitment to Cayuga Centers’ mission

What you’ll do:

• Project manage the development of proposals/responses to RFPs and grant proposals
• Lead, coach and mentor members of the Business Development team
• Research and investigate funding opportunities
• Stay abreast of policy and funding changes that affect the work of the agency and provide growth opportunities for the agency
• Work closely with agency leaders in the proposal development process and keep them updated on the status of projects
• Present to potential funders about our work
