Description

About Thrive Services Group:

At Thrive, we believe businesses can end poverty. Leading by example, we establish highly profitable businesses that fund social services programs for those who need them most.

Initially, profits from Thrive’s business entities will be directed toward funding programs for underserved communities, Goodwill Central & Northern AZ and its existing programs, and will be invested in developing PreK-6 schools and workforce housing.

An idea conceived and brought to fruition by GCNA leadership, Thrive Services Group Inc. was launched in January 2022 and born from Goodwill Central & Northern AZ leadership’s commitment to better serve those in our community who are most disadvantaged.

Three members of Thrive’s leadership team, including CEO Tim O’Neal, CFO Susan Barnes, and Chief Legal and Administrative Officer Mona Stone, also serve as leaders at Goodwill Central & Northern AZ. This was a strategic decision by both GCNA’s and Thrive’s board of directors to leverage expertise while also ensuring connectivity between the organizations.

This overlap enables leadership to use their already-developed knowledge and background of the industry to aid the local community by thoughtfully and strategically offering additional services through Thrive in a way that aligns with the community’s need.

GCNA also is offering Thrive access to shared services, which includes finance and accounting, payroll, benefits, information technology support, and leadership and development. Thrive is paying GCNA for this support.
