MACPA Development Coordinator

Location: Towson, MD/Hybrid
Status: Part-Time/Full-Time, flexible schedule

The Development Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with fundraising campaigns, donor stewardship, creating and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and assisting in a variety of programs and events designed to ensure a strong and diverse pipeline for the CPA profession and resources for member engagement and growth. This position will support fundraising activities and the expansion of development initiatives and community. This position will work closely with member volunteers, the Foundation Board, the Member Services Manager and CEO.

  • Fundraising – Create, support, and manage effective strategies and giving opportunities to increase corporate and individual donors, including special events, direct mail, online giving, donor identification and cultivation. Support long-term relationships with stakeholders and donors in the community to build new partnerships and funding opportunities. Provide support for ensuring revenue goals are met, creating new and improving on existing fundraising strategy, and reporting on efforts made.
  • Community Engagement – Support strategic community outreach to educate stakeholders, raise funds, and create strategic partnerships.
  • Program Coordination - Support the CEO and Member Services Manager in programming related to the work of the MACPA Foundation
  • Board Relations -- Support the CEO in the management of MACPA and Foundation Boards

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or three to five years relevant work experience

Proficient in GSuite, Asana and Slack preferred

Familiarity with the accounting and finance profession preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
