Division:
Administrative Office-Carol Stream, IL
Housed in the administrative office, the resource development department is responsible for fulfilling the organization’s fundraising goals by broadening and deepening relationships with individuals, foundations, and corporations who invest their financial resources as an expression of their alignment with the mission of OCM.
Job Responsibilities:
The Resource Development Database Manager is responsible for the management and optimization of donor data including policy and procedure development, software maintenance and integration, data integrity, data analysis and forecasting, reporting, and effectively training and collaborating with resource development team members. The Resource Development Database Manager is also responsible for functional activities of the donor database (The Raiser’s Edge) including efficient and accurate gift processing, designation and appeal coding, and receipting.
This position reports to the Chief Development Officer, collaborates with the Chief Financial Officer to ensure financial validity, and works closely with the 7-member resource development team.
Requirements:
A passion for the mission of OCM. BA/BS degree. Creative and strategic implementor with at least 4 years of experience in Raiser’s Edge, comparable database, or CRM. Familiarity with SQL or Crystal Reports coding language. MS Office proficiency with intermediate/advanced skill in Excel. Functional knowledge of donor tax receipting and PCI compliance guidelines. Expert skill in visualizing data through charts, graphs, etc. Demonstrated ability to perform effective and productive research. Procedure and system development experience. Attention to detail with process orientation. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and understanding of systems. Ability to produce common business metrics. Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and lead others to embrace new systems. Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information. A commitment to OCM’s Statement of Mission & Faith.
Status:
Full-time at 40-45 hours per week. Monday-Friday, primarily daytime hours with occasional evening and weekend hours for fundraising events.
Compensation:
Annual salary falls between $55,000-$70,000 based on education, skills, and experience.
