Job Overview

As a Customer Experience Volunteer Recruitment Manager you will create enthusiasm for volunteering and train volunteers to have necessary expertise to help customers at DFW Airport.  Under general direction of the AVP of Customer Programs, you will manage the recruitment and training of the Customer Experience department programs such as the Ambassador volunteer programs and Helping All Victims of Emergencies in Need (HAVEN) program.  You’ll have the opportunity to be a part of a growing team that is designing the shape of DFW Airport’s future.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Develop recruitment plans and strategies to properly staff important in-terminal locations
  • Develop a network of referral sources for volunteer candidates; develops, updates and maintains a current and comprehensive data base of referral sources.
  • Adapt training techniques to suit the learning styles of all volunteer demographics
  • Research best practices in volunteerism across aviation and non-aviation industries and develop reports to summarize best practices and present to senior management.
  • Report on metrics of training and recruitment programs to inform senior management of the programs’ success and prepare reports to management concerning progress.

Requirements

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, communications, or a related field.
  • Five (5) years of professional level experience in training or operational/airline experience.
  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
  • Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license.
