Your Future Team

Our San Diego office is seeking a Clinical Supervisor (Social Work Supervisor) for our local Transition Age Youth Services including supportive housing programs.  My Brother’s Keeper Transition Age Youth programs offer assistance that is client-centered, trauma-informed, and reflective of best practice standards in the field.

Your Impact

We serve youth ranging in age from 18-21, our multi-faceted approach ensures youth receive the guidance to support housing, employment, education, wellness, and other needs they may have for a successful transition. Our Case Workers are responsible for offering participants a safe and welcoming environment to support their transition to independence and self-sufficiency. This position will be responsible for providing crisis intervention, case management, on-site community engagement activities, and daily programming operations at various hours and days. This position will provide a strengths-based, individualized approach to assist our participants in reaching their personal goals and will be responsible for assuring maintenance of a safe, clean, and nurturing living environment for the residents.

Qualifications:

* Master's Degree plus 3 years’ experience in family/child welfare required and experience with THP-NMD programs

* Minimum of 100 days experience at the Master's level in a public or private social service setting

* Experience preferred in community-based organization

* Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

*Ability to work with a diverse cultural population

* Position also requires ability to be on-call and a clear Department of Justice

fingerprint check.

Duties include:

* Management of the Clinical and Case Management services provided to the project, including     development, planning, implementation, and evaluation

* Overseeing individual, group and family counseling, wraparound services, and other services

relative to program and team goals and objectives, including goals and objectives agreed upon with client based on the Casey Life Skills Assessment (CLSA)

* Supervision and maintenance of case files' clinical information

* Participation in program data collection and statistics; and other duties as assigned.

 

The Clinical Supervisor reports to the Department Director.

Responsibilities: Under the direct supervision of the Director, the Clinical Supervisor will be

responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the direct services staff.
