Description

Essential Functions:
 
A. Responsible for quality and quantity of output for positions supervised.
B. Recommend the hiring and firing of staff to the President/CEO for positions supervised.
C. Responsible for the scheduling, performance rating and any disciplinary action for positions supervised.
D. Review and present monthly financial statements.
E. Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and keep the President/CEO apprized of current and potential variances.
F. Prepare required reports for Mental Health Authority, Managed Care Providers, the Internal Revenue Service and other governmental entities.
G. Implement, audit, and supervise the application of procedures for the safeguarding of Agency assets utilizing the risk management program.
H. Implement, audit, and supervise the application of procedures for purchasing, billing, cash receipts, cash disbursements, and payroll.
I. Develop and maintain the Technology Plan.
J. Assist the independent auditors appointed by the Board of Directors.
K. Attend monthly Finance Committee and Board meetings and assists the Strategic Planning Committee through the development of a long range financial plan.
L. Responsible for the implementation of the Agency Management System (M.I.S.) and ensures compliance with all guidelines set by funders as well as insurance agencies.
M. Attend provider and contractor meetings.
N. Ensure conformance to DCH, DWIHN, Medicaid, CARF and Services to Enhance Potential Policies and Procedures and Corporate Compliance Policy.
O. Establish and implement plans for safety in accordance with prescribed standards.
P. Evaluate contracts for building maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of all Agency facilities.
Q. Evaluate and make recommendations regarding the effectiveness and efficiency of Agency client transportation system.
R. Review and recommend Agency vehicle requirements.
S. Act as the administration designee for the resolution of fiscal matters in the absence of the President/CEO.
T. Call to the attention of the President/CEO all matters within the incumbent’s area of responsibility.
U. Provide technical assistance to the Directors and President/CEO with regard to fiscal matters.
V. Provide personal care assistance for persons receiving services, as needed.
W. Adhere to all Services to Enhance Potential’s Policies and Procedures.
X. Prepare and submit all required records, documents and reports on a timely basis.
Y. Maintain a personal vehicle for use in performing job duties.
 
Marginal Functions:
 
A. Participate on Services to Enhance Potential’s committees as assigned.
B. Coordinate and supervise student educational field placements, volunteers, trainees and aides.  (Optional)
C. Participate in the ongoing growth and development of Services to Enhance Potential through attendance and participation in staff and other Services to Enhance Potential meetings and committees.
D. Represent Services to Enhance Potential in the community and provide information regarding Services to Enhance Potential programs and services.
E. Identify and promote opportunities for employment, volunteer and community experiences.
F. Assume any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
G. Provide coverage for positions supervised, as needed.
